Spent last weekend at North Point Marina out of Winthrop Harbor. We started with some weather and motor challenges. Once we got going, we found them in 180-200 fow (radio tip) which is 9 miles out down there. Cohos were 3-5 lbs biting on blue/copper, blue/green, and gold/green peanut flies behind orange dodgers fished off of 2 and 3 color lead and the dipseys. An occasional king was caught 40-60 down on spoons but not for us. While not thrilling as kings, good fun and good eating fish. Beauty of this location on the Wisconsin/Illinois line is that you can fish either state. Feel free to send me a msg for details if you r thinking of going.
