Clemenston Resort

I know many of us have either stayed or lived vicariously through reports at Clemenston Resort for the spring fling. I have been doing so for 10+ years. I peeked in today and was saddened to see this message from Feb. 8th:

After much discussion we have decided to remain closed through the spring season and will not be taking reservations.

Agreed! If anyone has an extra $239k laying around, and would like to be a resort owner, I will happily book a 3 day weekend in April!

we just found out about this as we go up in the fall usually. we’ve spoken with royal dutchman and it looks like that will be our ticket next year but we decided to take a year off.

art and gail really got unlucky in that the boiler and water system all went bad within a 2 year span like a year after they bought the place. i assume that it just took its toll. i also assume someone will grab this nugget and make it something special.
