I went to lake this mourning loaded with camera in hopes of a feild report but that was not to be.The winds shifted to the NE overnite and it was slow.In three hrs of trolling cranks we picked up one 15in eye and 3 yellows and a silver not skunked but not good either.I had been hearing from good sources that this past week the walleyes and yellows were starting to bite.I hope to try again later in week when the wind gets back south

Joe I think that south wind is necessary as Friday night we picked 2 eyes and several yellows and white bass; however yesterday for me they were only active during the rain in which I picked up one 21″ eye and several yellows then nothin after that. Over all I hope the bite is turning around a little.

Hey guys, what was the water temp? Looking to visit my folks next weekend and maybe hit the lake. How’s the cranks working? Pleasure boaters still messing things up? Thanks in advance for any info.

I did not make note of water temp today but I would guess mid 70,s. Most of the fish as of late have come from the 13 ft range and the jointed # 5 shad raps have been what I ussually use.As far as boat traffic it has not been to bad summer is winding down.I left the water today at 11 am and I seen one jet ski and no ski,ers
