I was hoping to have a good report I started my mourning trolling cranks north of the island in 13ft and in the 1st 1/2 hr had two jumbo yellows and a 16 in walleye.By 7 am it just died and only one silver later in the mourning had some friends on the water that had the same results one 19 in walleye and four nice yellows in the same time frame. Hopefully things will pick up as the bigger yellows are sure nice fish

I wonder if it has switched to a night bite?? Might have to try that this weekend as during the day there is a lot of recreational traffic. Fishing sure has been tough but there is definitely some fish to be caught yet. I also wonder if they have moved really shallow into the weeds??

Wading the rushes at nite and casting cranks might work I know years back there were a few that did quite well
