Clear Lake / Yellow report

    Fished CL 5 times in last two weeks; IMO things have slowed down towards the end of this week for the yellows around the island, mostly very small fish right in on the point now. Earlier it was really good for size and numbers. Not much longer for waders, time to get the boat ready.

    I fished CL on Saturday the 12th. Couldn’t keep the yellows away from my minnow under a slip bobber. Caught one every cast and never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. Many were good sized, they had to be I was using big minnows.
