I took a drive this mourning to offer as much info as I can.First of all the DNR does not have the ramps out at the major ramps .The one dock I seen out was at the east shore ramp by the outlet. Now for the good news some walleyes are being caught wading the outlet area and I seen a number of boats by the inlet at Ventura grade.I know before this last winter blast they were catching some nice crappie off grade up to 14in and some yellows and walleye this area might be worth a look .I apologize for the lack of feild reports lately I just have not had any luck health/ mechanicl/ and family commitments have left me with no time on water.I got tournys the next 3 weekends and plan on feild reports on storm and rathbun then I will start some Clear lake reports in early May.Until then I will pass on any info that I can I can gather on Clear lake.

Thanks for the report but we all know family comes first so you do what you have to do.

Thanks for the update Joe. I caught 4 legal smallmouths last night with the biggest at 16 inches. I got the Jon out this morning on the river and caught 2 keeper eyes. The water is a little high and a little muddy but clear compared to the big muddy a couple of weeks ago. I finally caught my first walleye of open water excluding saugers. Sorry, tried plastics all morning and had to switch to throwing cranks to scratch out the eyes….See you on the lake in May…OUT…

On our local news last nite they had footage on the gill netting from Sunday evening. They showed numerous walleye and musky to 20# a few of the walleye were dripping eggs has they removed them from the nets so I asume the spawn is in full swing
