    It was on local news tonite ice is out.The owner of Crazy minnow bait shop even said a few crappie were coming off grade.Hopefully I will get on water next week

    That’a what we are hoping also. But it will just be nice to be on the water again We will be in a Dark blue Alumacraft.

    Will do Bill Trolling rods, jiggin rods and gear are ready to go. I have a 4 day weekend and plan on using everyday on the water Just restocked on some lures and gear today at Gander in Cedar Rapids. They were handing out $10.00 gift cards to use towards $50.00 purchase. We ended up with 4 of them (Me, Son, Daughter and Wife) we split up in the store looking at stuff and each of us got one. We used 2 and kept 2 because they didn’t fill in the expiration date on them

    VERY smart deal there on your part. Thats a deal hard to pass up for sure. Can’t help but chuckle on that one as I’ve done that too before when my kids were younger and at home when we would hit the grocery store for groceries. Saved money to pay for boat gas that way. With 4 kids you needed to save when could to do other things. A 4 day weekend on the water sure sounds like fun. Enjoy.

    Hows it going Joe? Been a long winter it seems even if we didn’t have a bad one except for a 3 week long cold front that one time. Either way winter is too long in my book. I like the open water season much more. Keep us posted on how you do when you get out there.
