Clear lake Ia 2/3 open

    Drove by Clear lake saturday and it will not take much and it will be open water season.Also I noticed that most ponds are ice free.Its almost time

    Tons of open water up here too. I hope to get out next weekend or the week after if i’m not still sick

    Can’t wait for Clear Lake to open. Boat will be done with tune-up next week. The whole family is ready to hit the open water for the season Please keep the ice updates coming

    Joe, have any open water reports for Clear Lake? Just curious if it is open to launch a boat yet.

    You could most likely launch in downtown if it were me I might wait a week just because the ice thats left might start shifting around.

    I can’t believe no one has tried clear lake yet with a boat. We used to pound the nice eyes up there right after ice out but latley have been concentrating on fishing the mississippi and the cedar rivers.

    Heading up that way saturday to give it a try. Should be able to find something going
