A quick update the lake has cooled off considerably the last few days and so has the fishing. The lake was 54 on sunday after a high of 63 last thursday there are still a few walleyes being caught trolling the shallows 4to 5ft with stick baits being the best choice with shad raps accounting for a few fish. The best bite has been early 7 to 10 being the best.The best colors for me were blue chrome and clown but there were fish caught on other colors as well Lets hope for a warm up.The yellows have slowed as well but there are still a few being caught in the shallows
