Had a great after-tax-season trip. Weather was hot and so was the fishing. Caught crappies, walleyes and gills. Even a few fish with wiskers, by accident. It appears that Clear Lake is back to how I remember it, lots of barely legal walleyes and a few better ones. Walleyes were up on the reefs, Billys, the Island and the crappies were near structure in sheltered areas. Small jigs dangled in their faces did the trick.
