Clear water????

    What are the best colors for clear water? The lake that clarity is 10+ ft of visability.

    Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but I think the old saying is, “Dark days, dark lures”‘ Bright days, bright lures”

    Sunny, cloudy, target species, primary forage, depth and several other factors can determine the best color to use. I do well on a lot of clear lakes with silver, white, blue, yellow, red, orange and black in no particular order. I really like red and orange.

    I either go with very natural looking patterns, or intense colors.

    I’ve had good luck on bass with,June Bug, Black, Watermelon, Karen’s Majic, the fish tell you by the day what they want,

    Target species are Striper, and large mouth, Its projected to be sunny. Id say the primary forage for the lake is stocked trout.

    I’d go with silver and or rainbow colors then
