Clear Lake Largemouth??

    I was wondering if there happened to be any population of largemouth in Clear lake in Iowa? I’ve never heard of anyone bass fishing it. If so, has anyone had any luck Or areas to target them? Thanks Dustin

    There are a few large mouths in Clear Lake. Ive seen them in the rushes and accidentally caught a few. Its not a real big population but if you targeted them you should be able to catch a few.

    I appreciate it Michael. I’ve been driving by it for work for years and have seen a lot of those rushes on the north side along with the abundance of docks. Looked fishy. I Tried doing a Little research but came up empty that’s why I reached out.

    Its known mostly for yellow bass. There are also lots of walleyes and crappies in the lake. And for Iowa it’s a decent musky lake.
