Anybody have info on ice fishing the lake, does anyone put out sleepers and when the ice is usually good to drive on, would like to go down and try the yellow bass fishing.

I would check the Iowa DNR fishing report as the weather gets colder. I think they update every Thursday. If I remember they give ice conditions.
November 6, 2017 at 5:48 am #1725686i know guys put permanent shacks out. i couldn’t really tell you when people start driving on the lake. that would just depend on ice conditions obviously. and yes the dnr report gets updated every week and do tell the ice conditions.
also if you get down there for some yellows get ready to be on the move all day if you wanna catch a ton of them. i know guys will catch 150 200 a day. drill lots of holes! good luck and maybe ill see you out there!
