If you have a boat with any of these items:
*dirty waterline stains
*calcium build up on the motor
*calcium build up on the boat
*severe water spots
This is how you get infomercial like results. First pull the boat outside. Then take a rag and pour “The Works” toilet bowl cleaner on a rag. Now simply wipe the impossible stains away. Your jaw will drop. Wipe about a 3′ area clean then spray it off with a garden hose. Note: stay away from stainless steel. It will turn it slightly yellow, but it’s nothing a stainless polish won’t fix. It’s just easier to stay away from the stainless steel. When you’re finish dispose of the rags. The fumes from the rags can damage anything near them.
I talked to a professional detailer. He said the active ingredient in the The Works is similar to his high dollar boat cleaner.
I have washed every boat I own this way with perfect results every time. Aluminum or fiber glass, just wipe em clean and rinse. I was nervous at first but try a small area or dilute it with water if you’re worried. This trick has saved me 100’s of hours over the years. It’s actually pretty fun!
