    Just a public service announcement. Remember to double check your hunting clothing pockets before washing and drying. I’ve been washing clothes tonight and noticed the dryer sounded louder than usual. Typically jacket zippers and bib suspenders make quite a racket so I didn’t give it much thought until I took stuff out and there lay a .280 round in the dryer. Oops. I’ve never had that happen before. Apparently it went through the wash and dryer. I definitely won’t be using that round.

    Definitely cleaned a few 12ga 3″ #3 that way…the FW does it with chapstick about once a year and leaves some bad stains on some of the clothes…

    Hmmm. I’ve been looking for a way to speed up the process of cleaning brass for reloading. That washing machine is just sitting there doing nothing most of the time… Large capacity, probably 1000 rounds easy…

    We may be on to something here.
