Love Uecker in that movie. Some of my all time comedy favorites: young Frankenstein, blazing saddles.

“Heywood leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair.”

Bob Uecker has the best throwaway lines in that movie.

We watched “Trading Places” with Eddie Murphy, Dan Akroyd & Jamie Lee Curtis last week.

It too is a classic and I’m surprised that there hasn’t been protests to ban it yet- because of the absolutely hilarious & non PC lines.

Funny thing on the war movies… the other night I watched Where Eagles Dare. Last time I saw it was 4th grade and it was as good as I remembered!

Bob Uecker is the best. I love driving through Wisconsin during the summer just to listen to him on the Brewers broadcast on WTMJ.

Speaking of war movies I watched Flags of Our Fathers in the fish house Thursday night up on Red. Tried to watch Letters From Iwo Jima but it’s not a fish house movie as you have to read sub titles. So I switched to Hacksaw Ridge. Wednesday night was Johnny Carson dvd’s and Friday night I worked my way through 3 of the dvd’s from Gunsmoke The 50th Anniversary Edition box set. Still at least 3 left I think.

Every winter we watch: grumpy old men, Home alone 1&2, planes trains and automobiles, new in town, and need to work Fargo into the rotation.

Every spring: grumpier old men, great out doors, sand lot

“The soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window.”

Leg lamp in the window, tounge on a frozen post and your going to shoot your eye out with Santa pushing you down a slide with his boot are timeless.

    Like Harvey
    and Arsinec and Lace.
I’ll take Slap shot and strange Brew over the show with the wild thing any day for post classic sport shows. I’m not a big hockey fan.
