Anyone else tried these yet? I was skeptical of this trailer. But it’s one of the few lures/jig trailers that has surpassed my expectations in the last few years. The action on these are pretty incredible. I got to try it out for the first time last weekend. Black seemed to be the best color and I noticed that the action got better and better as the silk strands soaked up more water.

The bead in the middle is more durable than I expected and can be positioned anywhere on the silk so you can have it wacky rigged, or like a traditional “tail” coming straight off the jig. Some footage of it below as well as some pictures.

I have some and will be trying them soon (getting over being sick and don’t want to push my luck on getting sick a second time). let’s just say from the reports I have heard they must be working as a lot of places are sold out of them for the year already including directly from Clam. The Prototype for this has been like two years in the making and the finished product was just released to the public this year. It was one of Dave Genz ideas to come up with this.
