Clam Plate nils auger adapter

    Just ordered an adapter to fit the Clam Plate. They just came out with one this year. This fits the blue handled Nils auger. MSRP was 17.99.

    Prior to this release had to rely on custom adapter makers. All were over the initial cost of this Clam adapter.

    Can you tell me if there is any play with the adapter hooked up to the auger?

    Just got the adapter today. Fits nice and tight. easy to install. I ran an open air test. As expected there was a little wobble. I think once able to drill ice it won’t exhibit any appreciative wobble. Much like the old set up I had on the clam plate which was a Lazer 7 inch auger with extension.

    One thing about going with the Nils was no extension was necessary.
