Hello I’m new to Forum, up here in Northern Alberta Canada, was Very Cold yesterday, when Rigged out my Ice Shelter 3 of my 4 Side Windows Shattered
(plastipane), anybody have this Issue, I don’t see any of these Shelters on the Ice, thinking because of Cost of unit, they are great unit and I love it, just curious if this has happened to anyone.

    Thanks Randy

Hey feller, new guy as well. But as far as the x400. I have the same shack with no window issues yet, I live in Alaska and I took it out while it was negatives and didn’t have any window issues.
The issues I have had however are roof hub related. No matter how I would set it up 2 of the 4 roof poles would always be bending down and the rood would randomly collapse. My temp fox was to unstrap the ples so they could bow outwards and hopefully in the correct up position, but they stayed to the side. Ended up replacing it with a new x400 for about 80 bucks cheaper because on sale 🤘. Still having the same issue just not as severe of a bow.

Well I’m thinking it was because of Extreme Cold, we were -46c W/O the wind so was probably one of the coldest days I’ve been on ice, the good thing is, I Emailed Clam in am following day, and 6.hrs later the same day they Replied which I was Very Surprised so hats off to them, my tent is 2013 so over there WRRANTY coverage, but they are sending me Enough Plastipane to Repair my windows and will have Extra, so I was very happy on how they offered to help..

Glad to hear they took care of you quickly. That’s not something I’ve heard of happening before.
