Clam Hub Light mounting

    I have the clam hub light but I wasn’t a big fan of mounting it to the hub with the bolt so I was wondering if anyone has mounted theirs in a different way that is easier to remove and put up when it is needed.

    I was thinking a magnet would work.

    the hubs aren’t magnetic, wish they were.

    You could epoxy something ferrous to the hub, or a small rare earth to both the light and hub. A good quality velcro would probably work too.

    I used high quality industrial Velcro for the led ikea light I rigged my Eskimo with. Try and use the all plastic kind instead the the “cloth” kind.

    Really a magnet won’t stick to the hub? That’s what I was planning on doing with my Eskimo. 2nd option Velcro…
