Has anyone ever used a 9″ laser auger bit with a dewalt 20v xr drill on the drill plate?

Don’t think that would be a very good combo. The drill auger setup isn’t ment to handle a 9 inch hole. They do great up to 7 inches, after that they are pretty much underpowered. Use the right tool for the job. If you prefer a 9 inch hole stick to a gas auger, you will be much happier.

That’s what I was guessing, I will try it anyway, be nice to drill out the permanent. I love my solo for outside, just looking for a cheap way to go electric, I already have the drill and 10″, 9″,8″ augers, so I figured might as well get the plate.

I bet the new Milwaukee M18 Fuel drill (2nd gen) with 1200in lbs torque could turn that 9″ auger or even 10″ one. But a lazer power drill bit just might be too aggressive and heavy and wear down the life of the drill quicker then usual. But im certain it would turn the 8″ and 10″ Nils.

I have the plate and mounted an 8″ lazer to it with the Milwaukee m18 and drill all 8 holes in my skid house on LOW with 1 battery.
