For sale is a used Clam Command Post 6-person ice fishing hub shelter. I’ve owned this shelter for the last two seasons and am looking to downsize. Asking $75, located in Eagan, MN. This is a great shelter for those that plan on fishing solo with a lot of extra room or with a group. Advertised set up size is 6′ x 12′. All hubs are in place, all poles pop out, all vents and windows are in tact. There are 6 storage nets inside, 6 windows, and 2 vents. There are anchor points both inside and outside the shelter. Shelter comes with 6 ice anchors and the tie ropes.
Issues:
– The shelter has two doors. The zipper on the lower half of one of the doors is damaged and so that door only closes halfway. This may be repairable.
– There are poles that hold up the middle of the shelter between the two cubes. One has lost its support strap so the middle sags on that side. The other sags as well but not as bad. I’m 6′ and I have to lean forward slightly in the middle when standing. This does not effect the height in the two ends.
– A few of the straps used to pull out the hubs have broken off. I replaced them and the other pull points with stronger rope.
– The bag is ripped in half, wasn’t very good quality to begin with. I use a strong bungie cord to hold the shelter together.
