Haven’t fished the pulse R’s too much but for moxies my favorite colors are:

    1. white
    2. oystershell
    3. goldcracker w/ chart tail
    4. firecracker

I know alot of people like the new honey oil glitter w/ chart tail but I haven’t personally tried it.

    My best colors currently are:

    Chartreuse orange core
    chartreuse green core
    chartreuse pepper
    firecracker chartreuse tail
    purple chartreuse tail
    oystershell
    goldcracker

That being said, this year will probably be completely different. About 3 years ago, my best colors were catalpa orange paddle tail and a tequila sunrise ringworm.

Buy every color and then you can let the fish tell you what the best color is that day.

So what im getting out of it, is that you cant go wrong.. guessing it just depends on where youre fishing and the weather conditions?

Pretty much. I probably have every color, but a half dozen get the most use. The half dozen favorites for me on lake Wisconsin are probably not the same as somebody that fishes clear water. If they aren’t hitting the typical hot colors, I start digging out the rest of the box.

Do fish really see color? Or do they see shades of grey, especially in dark/stained environments.

I fish primarily Lake Wisconsin, which is tannic stained water. Probably not much different that Castle Rock.

Color definitely makes a difference. It may not be the first piece of the fish catching puzzle, but when your fine tuning, color is definitely a factor that when done right, will put more fish in the boat.
