This will probably sound dumb to most people but.. When you guys say “slender spoons” is that a brand name or are you just describing the shape of the spoon? I’m an icefishing noob as some would say, as I have gone icefishing less than 5 times. Thanks in advance. Catch any big girls on LOW? How deep?

Still wrong Mark it’s a bit of a trick question. Maybe not what it was but who…
I still remember when the guy at lundeends told dad and I if we didn’t have any of them we should just go home. We bought a bunch and it’s been my go to spoon for 20 years!

By the way I have been very happy with them as well… I wanted to try them last season, but no one in town had them… Then a guy wanted Rollie and Helen’s to order them for him and he never bought any, so being a silver fan, I stocked up, now it seems I need to try some in gold. Also have both the 1/8 and 1/4 oz. sizes.

Hammered ‘eyes in 4′ of water in Dec. and this past weekend got some perch and am going to try to get some gold if they got ’em from across da street. Would like to get some bigger crappies on ’em next.

Ahhh, I gotcha, I thought there was another Canadian spoon that was larger at the head and narrower at the hook end. Just haven’t found a picture of one yet, I have one in my tackle box.

That is correct, we bought it from Scott @ Reef Runner 5-6 years ago. Funny how that comes up now.
