I was late putting my order in for meat for this weakend. I usually order a 6 pound chucheye roast. Next weakend I’m thinking something different like beef short ribs. Now I see there is a chuck bshort rib. Apparently thicker meat with 4 bones. I think I’m going to order both for comparison. Love the Plate short ribb but I have never had the chuck short rib. Anyone have experience with Chuck short ribbs

The names get used interchangeably sometimes. The price per pound usually tells me what I am getting. $8/lbs vs. $4/lbs. I have done the chuck short ribs a number of times and think that they turn out great. I have tried the boneless version a couple of times and didn’t care for them near as much.

My schedule has been all screwed up so I have not been able to place my order. The butcher I go to is only open Friday and Saturday and one has to place an order by Wednesday so they can fill orders on Thursday for the weekend.
Luckily he had short ribs for me this weekend.
