    last nite at moms was the usual turkey dressing thing. sat nite we have all our kids over to do our family Christmas and it appears they has this tradition that I make a season rolled pork loin on the charcoal grill. its not a prepackaged one but one special ordered from our fav butcher shop. the fixins will be wild rice twice baked taters and undecided veggie probably creamed peas!!!!

    Kind of late to the conversation, but…

    Growing up, we always had Christmas Goose.

    My wife had ham.

    Several years ago, I started smoking a brisket and twice baked potatoes for Christmas Eve supper. I put the brisket on the smoker at midnight the night before, babysit it til about 2, get up 2-3 times through the night. Usually finished between 2 and 4:30 pm. Wrap in foil, then towels, then into cooler until we get back from mass. Unwrap, slice and serve. I cube up the point and throw back on the smoker for burnt ends.
