Yes we are Rob, Were having a bone in ham with home made glazing made by 2 cups of medium heat Pace picante sauce, brown sugar, honey, yellow mustard, celery seed, mustard seed and mollasses. Slice the ham on the top to the bone and put the mixed sauce in the cuts. Sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmallows. Mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy-still have a couple bags of hen of the woods and oysters in the freezer, brussel sprouts,a relish tray and home made yeast buns and maybe some corn bread. Make enough gravy to go over the cornbread too and can’t forget the pies.

Christmas Eve is just our daughter and son in law so we do a different country every year. This year is India with traditional India dishes, wine and songs.

Christmas day when everyone comes over it is traditional good ole USA for us that is wine, Turkey, Meatballs, Pigs Ass, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin, pecan pies, Cool Whip or Ice cream. Manheim Steam Roller playing with Wine, Beer, Ice cream drinks and one of my favorites Southern Comfort Ole Fashions.

You guys are making me hungry! We always do wild game for Christmas. Venison, fish, pheasant, turkey… whatever we were blessed with. I’d love to hear the Norwegian meatball recipe from the 1800s! Haven’t had lutefisk for years. My Grandpa used to make it but had some horrible stuff a few years ago and haven’t really gotten over it… we do a mean lefse though.
