12 bottles of Concord grape. Just a touch on the sweet side, its still got teeth. Ma’s already taking sangria and spritzers. The Cranberry is being started today so I’m thinking maybe about March and it’ll be ready for a test drive.

When I was moving the wine from the gallon fermenters to the bottles I had some left over in each gallon bottle. Not much but enough to syphon the wine off the dregs in the bottom without disturbing the stuff. I ended up with about a cup and a half. I mixed a can of cold 7-up with it and man it made a nice spritzer.

River….Carole and I were yacking while we walked this morning about making a run to Winona sometime soon….before Christmas. I’ll give you a shout to see if the timing is good to hook up. I’d bring a bottle for some refreshments. Stay tuned.

I have about 2 1/2 gallons of cranberry wine in a primary fermenter right now bubbling away. Should be ready to move to the secondary fermenter this week, maybe Weds. It sure looks great when I open the fermenter and stir it. Smells wonderful. Medium high octane lol. Been a little longer ferment with this so it should have some character. I did a finger dip tasting and it really is quite tasty. It is a very red wine…..should be beautiful in clear bottles.

The Cranberry is still fermenting pretty hard today so I’ll wait until Friday to move it to the secondary. Smells great though for a raw wine.
