ice reports please

    Well, i’ll be the first to ask? if anybody heads out on the chain of lakes near chisago area, please report the ice conditions. alot of us could really use the information. thanks…

    solid 4 1/2 on S Center, stay in the bays and there still are open cracks so be careful.

    south end of chisago and channel 3-4″. forest lake 2nd lake maybe 3″

    well its the weekend, I was hoping people would be out fishing and letting us know what the ice conditions were. I was really hoping to get out there and fish. Maybe I should just call frankies and ask them about the ice conditions.

    south center:open water on one spot along the ice ridge or heave half way to pancake. ice there 4-6 inches. the main body of the water is open from needle pt. all the way to the south end of the lake.
    forest: people going out from 1st lake access and 30+ hole by willow pt.
