Anyone have any info on the bite in the area?

I am feeling a cold coming on next week for a couple of days and I am planning on heading out

if you are talking fishing, the bite out there was hot for me when I was out there on the 7th. I boated 21 fish, if you go to my post of can’t believe this inthe bass forum, you will read what was working for me. basically you will find them on the bottom and fish it slow. also a white spinner with 2 blades just ticking some of the deeper weeds was also working.

I was hoping to target some Crappies. I was think of pitching a jig and a minnow in the weeds. Will hopefully hook up with a few.

if you go to that stump field from my other post, then find the points, where there is some rock, set up on the lake side of that point and achor in 7′ of water and try there. you should be able to find some there, I know alot of people fish that shore line from that point south. if you have any questions, shoot me a pm or call me.

I didn’t go, had a few snags that kept me from going, I am kicking myself for not going now, but was just tired and wanted to spend some family time i guess.

The shallow bite is still pretty good out there, although the wind on Sunday made it pretty tough. Flats with cover on them and a breakline nearby were the ticket for me.

I would guess they’ll be biting pretty good again this weekend. Just hope I can make it out there.
