Wondering if anyone has been out on n/s lindstrom lately for bass. I will be heading out there with Bigtime and hope to get into some fish. Also if you have any info on the water clarity and weed situation too, as there usually is a big algea bloom.

Fished a tourney at N/S Center on Sunday 6/11 and it was tough! 27 boats in the tourney and just 4 limits. 10 teams zeroed. The bass were skinny and not biting at all. Even the locals had trouble. However, lots of big bass caught on Saturday at the tourney on Green Lake. You might want to try that one instead. 6 fish, 21 lbs won with two more teams with 20 lbs. My dad and I had over 17 lbs and didn’t get a check!

I ended up getting out on s lindstrom/chisage yesterday around 10 and fished till 4.
We ended up getting around 25 fish, with the biggest being 17″. All of the fish came on the inside weedline on senkos and finesse worms. Even though our numbers where pretty good, the size was nothing to write home about.

The weeds are really in full swing out tehre. Any shoreline that we fished was completed engulfed. the key for use was to find areas that had panifish beds close by and then we would pick up a couple. But are those weeds thick

I will probably be done fishing this lake for a month or so with the algea bloom coming. As we fished yesterday, the water was getting cloudier and cloudier with particles. It will be green soup before we know it…..but when that clears up, the fishing will get really good.

I will post a picture of the big fish shortly.

Sweet post, DanK! I was on Green on Saturday and did pretty decent just the same chasing down the bass. We found the same pattern, targeting sunnies spawning bed areas and the inside weedline, wacky rigging the 4″ senkos .

Can’t wait to see your post of the “big one” too!

I fished those lakes Monday, and caught more Crappie than you can imagine, 6-10in, a couple largemouth, a monster bullhead, and a 16in walleye. Water clarity was about 3 feet, and the weeds were thick down to 15ft.

WW, any advice on finding the crappies? Were they biting all day or in the evening? Thanks.

Yeah, the crappies were biting on Minnows, powerbait power grubs, shad raps, and basically anyting else you would throw at them. 8-17 FOW.
