Did anyone get out for the opener?

Hey Mike!
Yes. I went out on Goose opener morning and it was slooow! My buddy got one 16.5″ not quite legal (17″ minimum on Goose) walleye in about 10′ on a jig and minnow. He also caught a nice 4-5 lb bass. And both of us caught a few hammer handle northerns. We even went and messed around in the shallow north basin for the heck of it and only got more hammer handles. We did see a guy catch a walleye that looked short but still went into his livewell
Even though the weather was crappy and the fishing slow, it was nice to get out anyway!
