Anything shallow. You couldn’t get shallow enough. Reeds won the tourney, pads were good, and of course some fish were taken off docks. Jigs, texas rigged anything, and spinnerbaits seemed to be the best. The deepest weed growth that was left was maybe around 4 feet and that was sparse. So just getting up in the stuff and working slow was the ticket. Some guys were drifting through the reed beds and picked up fish too. Lots of duck hunters to try not to interfere with.
