I was out on West Rush last night and was able to find some crappies in 32-34 FOW. The fish were there but were pretty lethargic. Between my brother and myself we were able to coax 11 fish through the hole during our 5.5 hours on the ice. The bait of choice was a ratso by CJ&S pink body with a glow head. My brother had some luck with a small demon jig tipped with a crappie minnow. The lake was making ice all night long and when we left there was about 7.5-8 inches of good clear ice. It was a lot of fun watching those crappies fight under the glass!
