Well every outing can’t be a 50 fish day but we did manage a few today. The fish were there, in the 12 to 18 ft range. Hair, plastics and livebait all worked but it was a real soft bite. Pete and I figured the approching cold front had alot to do with the lack of hot action. All and all not a bad day to be on the water. The pike in photo 1 came out of 20 ft of water. #2 is a nice eater eye that Pete caught dragging a jig and minnow in 14ft.
I really did not want to see this on the boat this morning! Kind of glad I am walking with the dogs this morning and not sitting in the boat.
