NSP Dam downtown Chippewa

    Has anybody fished this section in the spring? I have fished up to the bridge st bridge but not past the first set of rapids. Does it get deeper below the generators?

    Is is legal to fish for walleye anywhere on the chippewa river before opener?

    You can fish the Chip up to the dam in Eau Claire legally. North of there – season closed for game fish
