Here is what you guys who want to retire have to look forward to. Binge watching Chicago PD, which I didn’t watch when it first started. I think J-Lo was in the cast? I dunno but I didn’t like it. Now if I watch 30 seconds i’m locked in the chair binge watching. NCIS (the original) is just as bad.
Never watched it. Does it show the true number of non-police related shootings that actually happen there?
I like Chicago PD. ALSO an NCIS junkie. All of them. Like the FBI series also.

KQRS interviewed the lead star on Chicago PD sometime ago. As he said it’s about a leader of a team bending all the rules.
Couldn’t do it. Watched a couple episodes of that and Chicago Fire and it was so over the top fake I couldn’t take it.
You want to binge watch a good first responder show that is actually fairly real, watch Rescue Me. One of my all time favorite shows.

No no no…..Rescue me is 10x as entertaining as the Chicago series. Dennis Leary stars, wrote and directed most of it. It’s fiction but it shows life in the firehouse extremely well, is damn funny, and has a lot of nice scenery……

I’m sure with your background it’s tough, it’s like that for me it’s tough to watch military movies sometimes. There are some classics where the stories are good, but usually the action and fake stuff turn me off to it.
If you want to see bad acting watch Hawaii Five-0. If it weren’t for the blonde with the nice T&A I might pass. I miss Jack Lord and ” Bookem’ Danno” !

Exactly. That’s why I liked Rescue Me so much. It nails the firehouse vibe and relationships/humor and the realism, but is still really dramatic and entertaining.
Entertainment? Watch Blacklist.
I’ve been watching my yard trying to get eyes on the pocket gopher or mole who is turning the whole thing to swiss cheese… unfortunately I haven’t been binge watching, only when get a little time so he’s still out there.
The FW watches it, not for me. Way too fake. Yellowstone is where it’s at!

Used to watch Rescue Me. I loved Dennis Leary in that show.
