    Are there any parks or campgrounds on Vermilion where a guy could pull in for a night and camp in his topper?

    A little too far to make a round trip in a day.

    I like the Roosevelt campground by Tower on the East end. There are showers there, as well. The launch there is outstanding, too.

    You could try one of the state parks.

    There are free camp sites around the lake that are boat access only.
