I’m looking for a place online to buy an cheap dash mounted stereo. Preferably marine. Trying to replace the one in my pontoon.
It was an el cheapo but did the job for 8 years. I’m pretty sure the two speakers still work.
I’m usually pretty good at searching online but not having great luck.

Amazon all the way. Best selection and lowest price on any and all units out there.

PS add an AMP, Sub-Woofer and new speakers! mrgreen

Another idea are the portable blue tooth devices. You can move them in the winter from pontoon to fish house!!

Verizon has some good ones (waterproof) on sale now for $75.

This is what I do in my Boat, I have a EcoXgear EcoStone. It is waterproof and it floats. Produces good sound for its size and has a very good battery life. You can even charge your phone from it.

I do not know what size of housing you currently have, but I just purchased this setup for my Can Am Maverick UTV and it is very impressive for $100.

If it were up to me I wouldnt even bother. Its been down two seasons but every once in a great while it would be nice to have the radio. Thanks for the info!

Whatever you do, buy the marine version. I learned my lesson after going through a few automotive stereo. The current marine Sony has been soaked, and it’s been going strong for about 5 years now.

I’m the same way “every once in awhile” but I love listening to a baseball game on the pontoon boat.

    Excuse the hijack…carry on.
