Charter Fishing Kauai

    I am going to be in Kauai for a few weeks in March. Has anyone used a charter boat/captain/service that they would recommend? I am staying in Poipu but do not care about where on the island the charter is located.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    I was surprised to see this thread, but have been watching it with interest since I’ll be there mid-March, also. I’ve thought of fishing there in the past but never gotten around to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I hope to go back this May or next. Our dog sitter is in bad health. After a week on Kauai, I hope to go see Pearl Harbor. This will likely be our last trip that far. The plane ride is brutal. Last time I literally saw my house on the river on the way home. Then sat in Chicago for over 4 hours waiting to fly back 45 minutes back east home. Florida is far more manageable. But at the rate this year is going. Crowding and pricing may rule that out.
