I don’t understand the complexities of batteries. I’ve read both, you can and should not charge them using a regular Wet, Gel, AGM charger. I have a NOCO Genius GEN3 30 Amp charger. LiFePO4 is the lithium iron phosphate battery.

    Your Noco should charge it.

Most LIFEPO4 battery packs have their own battery management systems. Without a whole lot more information about the battery pack we can not come close to answering your question.

Typically LIFEPO4 battery packs are made up from a number of small independent cells connect in some serial/parallel combination to achieve the desired voltage and current capacity. Some packs come with built in management systems and some do not.

I know this doesn’t help, but a LIFEPO4 pack to run a trolling motor could be made up of hundreds of cells each needing to have the charge balanced during the charging process.

The noco can charge the LifePO4, it just won’t reach full charge.
