Anyone have any way of knowing when Home Depot or Lowes has their charcoal sale. When you get 2 18lb bags of kingsford for about 8.99. I need about 20 bags foe the summer and that saves a lot of money.
It’s normally Memorial Day weekend. I always stock up, too. My neighbors laugh that I have a small pallet of charcoal in the garage, but it’s worth it if you grill a lot.
memorial day is the most popular one as Ralph mentioned. still have some to make my way through from last year yet
Typically you can count on it around memorial day however there is usually some big sale in the late summer as well. I typically get a pallet of kinsford in the spring
I dont know your shopping habits but thrift stores and the boys ranch gets charcoal and pellets fairly often–my wife usually shops those and lets me know…within the last 3 months I bought 15 20lb bags of weber briquettes for $5/bag and I bought a LOT of kingsford oak pellets at like 2.50 a bag

I also think they have the sale on July 4th weekend. I always stock up for the year during that sale
