Channel Catfish spawn

Hello, I hope this finds everyone happy and well. I’d like to speak to you about your vehicles extended warranty. Just kidding. I have not fished for catfish much at all for a long, long time. I was told some friends about when fishing for spawning channel cats with a slip bobber and leach. They want to go. I cannot though for the life of me remember exactly when or at what water temp the Channels move up and then at what temp they spawn. The water temp in the River down here is/was nearing 70 in the channel. Seems to me it may be a tinge early, but we have to be getting close to that time of year. Or if you have observed Channel Cats already moved up shallow/spawning please advise. Appreciate all of this.
