Changing Strikemaster 8" Chipper mag bit to 8" Lazr bit?

I know it may seem like a question that doesn’t really deserve it’s own thread, and may even come out as a silly question, but is it possible to buy an 8″ lazer auger drill assembly and replace the drill on an (originally) 8″ chipper mag?
I want to keep the Chipper drill for late season/re-drilling holes, but I also want the lazr for lake/hole hopping.

I am finally ditching Eskimo after two auger failures in the same day, and switching to Strikemaster.

I know you can change the drill bit’s on an Eskimo, but on a Strikemaster I am not sure.

All Strikemaster power auger bits are interchangeable. You can switch size and blade style as you see fit. They’ll all bolt up to your powerhead.

Check out d-rock in February for a used lazer drill. Bought mine from there for $90 a few years back and put it on my mag III.
