Chamberlain, SD this weekend

    Hey guys. Meeting a buddy from Wyoming in Chamberlain this weekend to do a little ice fishing. Neither of us have iced the river in that area before and there is a huge lack of up to date info on ice conditions and depth we should be looking for. If anybody has some info they could pass along it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    It might be worth going down to Platte to ice fish. Google Platte Creek Lodge.

    Flows increased from Big Bend dam for power generation, water levels are up 4-5 feet, guys were needing 25′ planks to get on the ice. I would call the bait shops in chamberlain to verify conditions.

    Platte creek lodge just did a outing with Jason Mitchell. Check out Platte creek lodge Facebook page. Just remember first 4 walleyes have to be kept.
