Currently looking to pair either the ceymar 10 or inspiria 20 on my precision. Mainly will be used as a walleye and perch rod on ML, LOW, and southern lakes. So a few chances a year at bigger eyes but mostly 20″ and under sized fish. Leaning towards the ceymar cause of the price being I can get 2 of them for price of 1 inspiria especially if I come home from the ice show tomorrow with another tuned up rod.. Will the ceymar have enough power to handle some upper 20″ eyes or am I just better off going with the inspiria? Thanks

Enough power for a walleye? jester

    Good one.

I’ve caught some pretty big fish on some pretty $hitty reels. Either of those will work. Don’t split hairs when not needed.

Knowing that the reel will be going on a Precision my vote is for the Ceymar. That real is hard to beat for the price and is more than enough reel to handle any walleye you’ll ever bump into.

I got one Ceymar 10,it can handle a 14lb bowfin and some decent pike in open water.

A nice reel, seems a little better than Shimano sahara for less $$$.

Not sure where you live milemark but if you catch a 14lb Bowfin here in Minnesota you have just caught a state record.

Wow, better than a Sahara? Would others agree with that? I’ve been pretty happy with my 500 Siennas for panfish but if the Ceymars are that good I might have to try one.

    I agree with James
I bought a Ceymar last winter for $39 and it is an awesome reel

Caught it across from Winona last spring.Just under 14 on an old spring scale,it was big and gnarly.I believe a lot of record rough fish go undocumented.Like the big gar I caught with Randy W a few years ago,was over 40″ long.

The Ceymar is nice with a smooth drag.I totally cleaned it when I got it,the factory gets carried away with grease/lube.Hot sauce,a little goes a long way.

To me,Shimano quality has gone down from years past.

I was convinced by people on here last season to put one on my TUCR PP, loved it. Now have a Ceymar C10 on my Commander and Fusion, and spare waiting for my next weakness of purchasing.

    Stop thinking, buy, and enjoy!
