Curious what the bow hunters here are seeing as far Rut activity in Central Minnesota. The warm Temps have me a little worried that the rut activity may be delayed a little this year. Not really sure if the Temp has any impact on the rut at all or not. It does not seem like the firearm season is less than a week away. Was out in shorts and a Tee shirt yesterday and was comfortable. I see the forecast for Sun. is in the low 50’s. That’s a little warm for my taste for deer hunting. Oh well I guess we’ll take what we get. Good luck everyone. Be safe out there !!!!

I am not bow hunting this year but I do know the deer in northern mn got quite active in the past week. I have been up there the last 2 weekends. one scrape increases in size 3 fold. not to mention driving up Friday nite I seen 32 deer going up. that’s more then I seen driving up there the last 3-4 years combined. lotz of does with fawns.

I’m just south of Mcgregor. Sitting in a tree as I type this. Scrapes and camera pics have exploded in the last 4 days since I’ve been here. I’ll be parked here for the next 11 days. I’ll report back.

Daylight activity has been almost non existent for me the last couple days. Everything on camera is between 10pm-2am. Bucks have been solo so far. Opener could be good with a change in weather.

I’ve heard a few good reports of bucks running during daylight in the St. Cloud area.
