Yes service is pretty good out on the lake however you need to be careful when you get out too far they start charging international fees
Happens every time for me because my t mobile phone will go off Canadian towers. I’m supposed to shut that off but then I wouldn’t have service. I just call t mobile and they always wave the fees. I say the anywhere in the us and I was in the us.
I have Verizon and often have at least enough service to send a text. I usually don’t call when I am up there due to the charges mentioned above. My experience is in Morson on the Canadian side – in the summer.
There were many people stranded on the lake over the weekend and they were saying that folks with T-Mobile were unable to call, etc due to no coverage.
When you get way out into the lake, it gets sketchy. These guys were 20 miles plus out.
I have Verizon and have always been able to at least text while I’m 20 miles out there but honestly its kinda nice when I dont have the cell coverage. I like to disconnect while I’m up there.
