I see Caymas is coming out with a deep v series of boats. In Tune Marine has a video with the new DV22. Looks pretty sweet

Are you talking about the Vexus DV22. If so they have been out for a handful of years now.

Caymas is another Earl Benz company. He designed Triton Boats.

I know someone who recently purchased a Caymas bass boat. Nice looking boats but boy are they $$$$. I know lots of boat brands that are up there but they are way UP there !!!! I can’t find a price listed for this new model but my guess is it will be close to 100,000 with a good electronics setup. Its crazy to think that some people these days are probably paying more than 2X more money for a boat than their parents paid for their first home. I guess its just money. Can’t take it with you. I have never seen a Brinks truck pull up to a funeral home

Just watched the Video. WOW. a less than a 22 Ft boat rated for a 400 HP motor. By the way. If anyone is looking for a great boat salesman to work with. Aaron Teal is great to work with. He really knows the ins and outs of all the boats that they sell.

Dad bought a 3 bedroom rambler new in 1968 for $16,000 but it didn’t have a garage or paved driveway in fact the basement wasn’t finished off either.

    Times have changed.

    I can almost guarantee it’s over 100k.
Looks like a rebadged Triton with a few upgrades to me.

I saw the DV22 at the boat show. Its the Triton hull on a redesigned top cap.

While it looked cool, for the $128K price tag they had on it, I’d be buying the V238 Warrior over that thing.

One thing I did like about the Caymas is you can custom order the back storage. If you like the U compartments you could get that, or if you only wanted one you could do that as well and tell them which side you wanted it on.

I just think for $128k you have much better options. The WX2200 is a way better option unless you’re looking for all out speed. Dealer told me around 70 depending on load with the 400. But I have lost my drive for speed. When speed is a thing, rough water handling suffers. When rough water is the all out name then speed suffers. I like the happy median.

Thanks for the update Chris. I thought it looked like a Triton. Give me handeling over speed any day. Any lake that you can actually use 70mph you can probably use it about once a year.
