caught while jigging for walleye

    So this one decided to snack on the fathead I had on my jig… 6lb test monofilament and a ML-Fast jigging pole. Took a while to bring it to the boat – kept pulling drag and running back to the bottom. My heart was still racing when we snapped this pic. by the looks of the various wounds on this one, some more healed than others, I can’t imagine what was bigger down there…

    Nice one! One day I’ll accidentally catch one I hope? Those are probably breeding scars? Those muskies get a little frisky this time of year.

    Nice. Muskies bite each other during the spawn. Some big females look like they have been attacked.
